Lacy’s piece “A Wish Made of Clay” won an honorable mention in the annual Literary LEO edition of the independent weekly newspaper The Louisville Eccentric Observer. It appeared in print on March 1st, 2023.


A small collection of works, including “The Dragline”, “Invisible Wins”, and “Molehills”, was published in the August 30th, 2022 edition of Spoonie Mag.


Lacy’s piece “A Time Machine at Sea” was included in Mood #1 in June of 2022. It is a collection of modern epistolary flash fiction and poetry told in email or text/instant message format.

In celebration of Asexual Awareness Week, Lacy published this article entitled “What is Asexuality?” on the Medium platform in October of 2018.


 

Lacy served as the developmental editor for the book “A Handful of Soil” written by Andrew V. Kudin and translated from Ukrainian by Veronika Kudin. It was published by American Book Publishing in 2006 and released as an Amazon Kindle edition in 2012.


Lacy’s poem “On High, Where I am Not Welcomed” was published in the August 2006 edition of decomP magazine under her maiden name, Lacy Davis.

Lacy’s narrative non-fiction essay “Getaway Anyway” was included in the anthology “Where Handstands Surprise Us: The Best of the Bean Street Reading Series” from Pitchfork Battalion Press in 2004. It was published under her maiden name, Lacy Davis, and was used in subsequent years as a composition example in the writing curriculum at Indiana University Southeast.

19 of Lacy’s poems were featured in the anthology “Poetry Has Had its Way With Me” published by iUniverse in 2003, including the titular work. She appeared under her maiden name, Lacy Davis, along with five other female poets: Carole Phenix, Leisa Pierce, Lorri Scott, Amy Rossi, and sdoic.


The works "Nothing Epic in the Epicenter" and "Will you read me for my beauty?" appeared in the Winter 2003 edition of WordsDance magazine under her maiden name, Lacy Davis.


Since 2001, Lacy has published 170 works of poetry on the pathetic.org community. She is a patron of the site and has had her work spotlighted 11 times on the home page. She was awarded Poem of the Day on July 23rd, 2006 for her piece “Until Sleep (or my lover) Takes Me”.


Lacy was a major contributor of editorials and fiction to The NH Underground between the years of 1997 and 2000 and served as an editor on the paper for two years. She was an active participant in the now defunct Spyder’s Empire poetry forums in the early 2000s.
