Lacy is a native Hoosier who has emigrated to the Netherlands. Professionally, she is a brand manager and content creator with 25 years of experience working in publishing, print marketing, and new media. She has partnered with more than 40 nonprofits and mission-driven organizations to help grow engaged communities and amplify work that matters. She currently serves as the Digital and Social Media Coordinator for P.S. Literary Agency.
Lacy has shared her expertise in social media strategy and brand voice development with Scribophile and Writing Day Workshops, and has served as a guest moderator and panelist for WriteHive. She is also an organizer and regular contributor to Virtual JaneCon, an online celebration of Jane Austen, her work, and her readers.
Along with six other poets, she published the anthology Poetry Has Had Its Way With Me in 2003. Her narrative nonfiction essay “Getaway Anyway” was selected for inclusion in the anthology Where Handstands Surprise Us: Best of the Bean Street Reading Series and was later used in the writing curriculum at Indiana University Southeast. Her words have been featured in decomP Magazine, WordsDance, Spoonie Press, Full Mood Mag, and Literary LEO.
